Event Details

Join us for a special screening of the documentary SCREENAGERS: Growing Up in the Digital Age, an award-winning film that probes into the vulnerable corners of family life and depicts messy struggles over social media, video games and academics. Screenagers is the first feature documentary to explore the impact of screen technology on kids and offer parents and families proven solutions that work. What started out as a personal story for one has grown into a national movement, helping millions of teens and their families navigate growing up in a world with instant access to screens.

Following the film, Stephanie Nancarrow with the Indiana State Police will lead a discussion on important related topics. Stephanie worked at the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS) as a family case manager for 5 years specializing in sexual abuse cases during her later years. Stephanie is now a youth educator with the Indiana State Police and ICAC Task Force educating youth on social media safety.
